Mobile Devices

Multiviewer can also be run on tablets (Windows 10 and Androids) and mobile phones in the Google Chrome browser. iPhone and iPad users can use Safari. To take advantage of the full functionality of Geodropbox on mobile devices, you must ensure that Multiviewer has access to the camera's location, etc., cf. instructions can be found here please check before use. The functionality of mobile devices is the same as the PC version, with the following exceptions/modifications:

• Menu icons for 'Projects', 'Dashboard', 'About' and 'Log out' changed to save space.
  
  
• You can only search one data layer at a time . If in the PC version you have made several data layers searchable in one project and open that project on a mobile device, none of the layers will be searchable by default. You must choose which data layer you want to search in the layer control yourself.
  
  
• There is only room to display one image with the overview map.
• When you open a street image/oblique photo , the image window will automatically lock in on the right side or bottom of the screen.
• You close the image by clicking anywhere in the index map. If you happen to click on a pixel, the new image opens.
  
  

• Navigation
  To navigate between street photos, point to the image:
  In the direction of travel:
  Point at the bottom of the image → one image forward
  Point in the middle of the image → three images forward
  \ \ Perpendicular to the direction of travel:
  Point in the left part → one image on the left
  Point in the right part → one image on the right
  
  
• Measurement (currently only in 3D mode)
  When a measurement is started, icons for 'Approve Measurement' and 'Delete Measurement' are added under the menu icons on the left side of the screen. Measurement is completed by activating 'Approve measurement'. A measurement is deleted/canceled by activating 'Delete measurement'.
  
  
  
  
• Upload your own photos
  You can choose whether to take a picture with the device's camera or to select an existing image (where you choose between searching the device's image library or any file folder (browse). ( only one image at a time.) Browse requires special access.
